Investor Charter in respect of Research Analyst (RA):
A. Vision and Mission Statements for Investors
Vision: Invest with knowledge and safety.
Mission: Every investor should be able to invest in appropriate financial products based on their needs, manage and monitor investments effectively, access relevant reports, and achieve financial well-being.
B. Details of Business Activities
- Publish research reports based on research activities.
- Provide independent and unbiased views on securities.
- Offer recommendations with disclosure of financial interests.
- Base recommendations on publicly available information and analysis.
- Conduct annual audits.
- Ensure compliance with the Advertisement Code for Research Analysts.
- Maintain records of all client and prospective client interactions.
C. Details of Services Provided
Client Onboarding
- Sharing terms and conditions of research services.
- Completion of KYC for fee-paying clients.
Client Disclosures
- Provide all material disclosures required for informed decision-making.
- Disclose business activity, disciplinary history, risks, and conflicts of interest.
- Disclose the extent of use of Artificial Intelligence in research services.
- Disclose conflicts of interest in third-party research or provide access to such disclosures.
- Ensure equal and non-discriminatory distribution of research reports.
- Maintain confidentiality prior to public release of reports.
- Protect client data privacy and confidentiality.
- Provide timelines for services and adhere to them.
- Offer adequate caution for complex or high-risk products.
- Treat all clients with honesty and integrity.
D. Grievance Redressal Mechanism
Investors may first approach the Research Analyst for grievance redressal. Complaints will be addressed promptly and within 21 days.

Escalation Mechanism
- First level review by Research Analyst Administration and Supervisory Body (RAASB).
- Second level review by SEBI.
- Complaints may also be escalated via email to RAASB.

F. Responsibilities of Investors
Do’s
- Deal only with SEBI-registered Research Analysts.
- Verify SEBI registration through official SEBI intermediary database
- View list of SEBI registered Research Analysts
- Review disclosures in research reports before investing.
- Make payments only through banking channels or authorized mechanisms like CeFCoM.
- Ask questions and clarify doubts before acting on recommendations.
- Understand risks before investing in complex products.
- Exercise the right to discontinue services if required.
- Provide feedback on services received.
- Report any promise of guaranteed returns to SEBI.
Don’ts
- Do not hand over funds for investment to the Research Analyst.
- Do not rely on rumors or misleading advertisements.
- Do not be influenced by discounts, gifts, or incentives.
- Do not share login credentials of trading, demat, or bank accounts.
